Sterling Silver Vintage Amethyst Set Celtic Art Industries Bangle

This beautiful vintage bangle is by Celtic Art Industries and features a Celtic beast design with a central round pale coloured faceted amethyst. It is stamped to inside SCOTLAND SILVER CIA and DB (for Hamish Dawson Bowman). I would estimate this to be 1950s.

This design can still be found on celticartjewellery website where it can be made to order for £580.

The bangle fastens securely with a pin, is 1.8cm at widest and approx. 6cm across internally (average size for a bangle). The site describes it as a Cridhe Ornate Celtic Bracelet - cridhe meaning heart in gaelic with the stone representing this and joining the two halves which symbolises the love between two people. Wouldn't this be a lovely Valentine gift!
