










Sterling Silver Large Pendant of an Osprey in Flight with Salmon by Magnus Maximus
This stunning pendant features an osprey in flight with a salmon in its talons. Crafted in sterling silver, it measures an impressive 4cm x 5cm and is on a 24" sterling chain.
This vintage piece was made by Magnus Maximus - Magnus Maximus Designs was a short-lived (1971-1979) English jewellery company founded by three designers / jewellery makers, Michael Gray Bell, Pauline Diane Bell and Ian Murray Pennell. They worked in the village of Frizington, Cumbria.
The pendant is fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1979, making this one of the companies last designs, and bears maker's mark of MMD. The chain is stamped 925.
